BITZER, one of the world's leading manufacturers of refrigeration compressors, officially opened its international training and development centre - the SCHAUFLER Academy - at its site in Rottenburg-Ergenzingen at the beginning of 2016. Named after the long-standing owner of the company, Senator h.c. Peter Schaufler, the SCHAUFLER Academy makes an important contribution to the training of qualified personnel from the international refrigeration and air conditioning industry and offers application-orientated training under realistic system conditions.

During the construction phase, KECK was commissioned to create a welcoming atmosphere in the building for visitors and employees.

KECK developed the concept for the following stations in line with BITZER's motto "The Heart of Freshness": a three-dimensional logo at the entrance, a reception area with a waiting lounge, a welcome wall with a media presentation and a relaxing breakout area to use during training.

The centrepiece of the communication is the 14-metre long welcome wall with 658 three-dimensional letters. Visitors are welcomed in German, English, French, Spanish and Italian. A film about the milestones in BITZER's company history with a glimpse into the future was created for the three integrated monitors.
