Herrmann Ultraschall is the global leader in ultrasonic welding. In 2016, at the world’s leading trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry, the company presented a new generation of ultrasonic generators.
This was the perfect time for the relaunch of the tried-and-tested trade fair stand concept. In collaboration with Herrmann Ultraschall, KECK developed a new, scalable exhibition design, which is flexibly adaptable and, at the same time, ensures the immediate recognition of the brand at around 20 trade fairs to be held through 2022.
DESIGN FOR THE PRODUCT INNOVATIONS OF THE FUTURE
The previously used company presentation, which was also conceived and designed by KECK, had proven itself across the span of many years and was valued equally by both the marketing and sales departments. Both departments were therefore in agreement that some existing elements of the old design be retained, but that these elements be integrated in a significantly more modern staging of the brand and its innovations.
The central theme at the K trade fair was the digital networking of ultrasonic generators, which the technology for Industry 4.0 predestined. The products’ numerous possibilities and advantages were intended to be communicated to the trade fair visitors in a simple way. This concept was realised using new product presenters, since Industry 4.0 presented seven of the 12 exhibits live and up close. The absolute highlight was the new generation of ultrasonic generators presented in an exciting combination with a transparent OLED monitor.
The striking diagonal brand frame, which in future will be a fixed part of the presentation at smaller trade fair stands as well, contains a large LED light band for the main communication concept.
